Sweet dreams or Reality???

Heard the rumour? Villa are about to be taken over by Property Company Comer Homes Group in a £64m bid.
Both Ellis and major shareholder Jack Petchey have apparently agreed to sell their shares in the club, which makes a combined total of 58%.

It's going to be put to the other major shareholders next week, until then we have to wait and see what happens.
Do you think this is good or bad? I've got mixed feelings. While this may be good for the club in the short term, if we don't spend wisely (like Leeds Utd did), then things could all go pear shaped. Also all this money in football isn't a good thing, its not a game anymore. It's a business.

Bring back the swift pint before a match. Atleast the game was worth paying for to watch back then.

Yeah, there are two sides to every coin. But in the club's current condition things do need to change, and I think deadly is finally seeing this now. With his health aswell, he can't continue as Chairman and will sell the club soon.

Also read somewhere that if he does sell Villa for £64m, that he will make a £20m profit, which also makes good business sense.

Only one thing to do, doug.
